News For Today
Most interesting news is in the preceding post; I've figured out what I'm doing with Star Harbor Nights.
Personal Assessment
Sleep continues to be just the right side of workable. It might have been better... when I went upstairs to lie down last night I felt genuinely sleepy, but then I sat on a black cat who had curled up on top of my black fleece blanket. The resulting adrenaline rush probably kept either one of us from getting to sleep for hours.
Dreams From Last Night
Fallout-themed, ish. Me and a few other people who'd survived a nuclear apocalypse inside an underground town-like vault were trying to get other survivors to band with us so we'd have one big functioning population instead of a bunch of scattered little ones, but we couldn't get anyone to come. We tried offering a free concert and classes on various topics, but it was only when we hosted a cookout that we really got any attention.
Plans For Today
Today has sort of turned into a reflection/planning day, which I don't think is a terrible use of my time. I sat down planning to prep for writing a chapter but my mind wants to work on a larger scope. That's okay. It works for me. The last chapter of Tales of MU that went up was a sort of minor turning point chapter, as it marked the close of the first day of classes. It's not a book break (I know how and where the first book will break) but the tone and pace of the next part is going to be a little difference. Taking some time out to figure that out is a good thing.
