The Daily Report
First day home from the con. I kind of expected to sleep all day, but that doesn't seem to be happening. There will probably be crashiness later on, though.
The State of the Me
Had a bit of a sore throat yesterday, which I'm hoping is just down to the dryness of the canned air in the airplanes and the fact that I've been doing so much talking lately. If I managed to avoid the creeping con crud this year, I will be very happy.
I'm down on sleep, but I slept every night of the con, and that makes a difference. Last night I slept fairly well, if it was kind of fragmented.
Dreams From Last Night
At one point I was trying to cook a meal for a few hundred people in a big plastic storage tub. It involved eggs, and cigarettes that were in there to impart flavor.
At another point, I was in the middle of a group of people who we were aware included a vampire's daughter who had to be discovered for some reason. The rest of the group was very slow to grasp the fact that a person who became a vampire could have had a daughter before becoming a vampire, and the daughter's age (actual and apparent) could be higher than the vampire's.
Plans For Today
First day back, so I'm balancing the desire to throw myself into the swing of things with the knowledge that I will probably, of necessity, end up with a light day. I need to get the newsletter for this weekend started, a task that could be easier or could be harder because I've done so much blogging about WisCon. Today's also day one of development/writing for the next chapter of Tales of MU, and I'm reinstating the 500 word minimum again on that. Then I also need to do some work on the next KDR to get it ready for a month from the last one
So a light day, in the sense that there's nothing that needs to get *done* tonight, but not a dead or slack day.
