my first website was a geocities site as well. A writer's critique group called the leaking pen, we never got a single member above my real life friends, sigh. but i do still have an essay i got from piers anthony about the group by writing to him! need to find that. Been spending time at work going through the files on the site and dling stuff i want to keep.

And honestly? the death knell of geocities was myspace, because the VAST majority of geocities sites were basically myspace pages. lets be honest...
