Here's somewhere else I think 4E improves over previous edition: chromatic dragons are still "the evil ones", but metallic dragons are unaligned.

A step in the right direction for sure. Now what they should do next is make also the glossy and pearlescent dragons unaligned, and then remove the colour-coding. It makes people assume too much.

I did like how in MU so far 'Evil' Green Dragons appear to be more 'noble' than the 'noble' silver dragon Embris.. though it may just be because the Greens' neighbors are reptilian.
