I agree that Tales of MU advocates against racism. The scene where the rules in the Dining Hall changed and Jamie is thinking "If that's the least thing they have to put up with . . ." Well, it is, and Jamie not knowing the full situation is written very well.
I also particularly liked the walkout from the elvish history class. Sometimes there's nothing you can do, but I'd like to think I'd make a statement like that.
