I'm guessing they've stopped teaching basic Supply/Demand economics in schools since I graduated in '93? Even if the listed priced for an item (say the aforementioned 200GP idol) says one thing, what if there is a glut on the market? When supply is high and demand low, prices fall. Which means you keep yer idol until you find a town where their are none, and the oppossite makes you a profit (supply is low and demand is high, prices rise).

This whole discussion just keeps one thought rebounding in my head today "What is wrong with these people?" I'm starting to think that there is a segment of the gaming community who's favorite pastime is complaining just to hear their own voices (or read their own words). Again, a microcosm of life in general.(heavy sigh)
