Again, my understanding of portability is that it doesn't matter what state you are incorporated in, you have to play by the rules of the state the policy is sold in, thus if you practice in 8 states, you have 8 different sets of regulation to play by. Allowing a policy to transfer from one state to another may necessitate changes to the policy, but does not cancel it.
