I totally understand what you mean about not being comfortable doing your thing when other people are around. I can't seem to do anything creative when other people are in the house. Even if I can close myself off completely--not likely--I'm fidgety and nervous knowing they're THERE. It's not even that I do anything particularly strange, I just feel like my creativity can't fully expand itself if it's crowded by other people's minds.
