A note for Thursday's D&D players.
Aug. 3rd, 2010 05:50 amI had been planning on putting up a "bridge post" to carry things forward from where we left off last week, but every time I start it I'm left with the conclusion that it's probably best handled in real time. I'll save the bridge post for when we have sessions that end with real downtime or a more open-ended situation. I'm excited by the idea of continuing the adventure between sessions but this is one situation where it wouldn't really work.
So we're going to be picking up on Thursday right where I cut the last session's transcript... I know that some people continued saying/doing things after that, but this gives a nice clean stopping point to pick up from. I'm going to be taking
kynn's suggestion and doing a little more traffic control when multiple people are doing things. That way nobody's contributions will be overlooked.
Remember, though our scheduled starting time is 9:00 PM CST I'm going to be online from about 8 onward, and if everybody else is available we can start earlier to have a longer session. Some people aren't able to control exactly when they get to the computer... I'd guess we probably won't be all present and ready before 8:30, and even that's not a sure thing. In other words, please don't sit around by the computer for an hour doing nothing on the off chance that this'll work... but if you are likely to be sitting there doing nothing pressing anyway, please be logged onto Skype just in case.
