Well, the moving fundraiser is off to a great start, being more than ten percent funded in a single day. Or to put it another way: it's got to average about $42 a day to be fully funded in sixty days, so it's about a week ahead of schedule. It's tempting to think "Wow, at this rate it will be funded in just ten days", but you have to figure that a certain amount of this is the low-hanging fruit... the people most likely to donate are likely to do it as soon as it's possible for them to do so. But then, there's also such a thing as momentum. This is the first time I've ever done something like this, so I guess I'll see as I go.
I'm hoping for a big boost on Wednesday. I linked to it from the TOMU site on Monday, but that was with an Other Tales story and I know there's a large contingent of readers who only read the main story.

Doing well. I'd been planning the fundraiser for a while and actually starting it makes me feel a bit less antsy and scattered in general.
Plans For Today
We have been having some terrible, terrible weather here in Hagerstown... flash flood and tornado warnings all over the place for a lot of the past week. Today seems to be a break in the weather, so we're going to be going out and doing grocery shopping.
