We're into my last week in Maryland. There's no bonus story this week... I didn't do my customary reminders/link-boosting for the incentive last week to possibly lower the pressure on myself this week. As with my working hiatus the other week, this doesn't translate to a day off, just a little bit of breathing room.
The fundraiser is going great... we passed the 80% mark this weekend thanks to another person going for the biggest perk, which is having your name worked into the MU world as a building or historical reference. There's exactly one of those left. There are also two of the signed MU diplomas left. Those are the only ones of the limited perks that are close to running out, and of course a lot of the perks have no limit.
Because a couple of people have mentioned wanting them but not having money right now: the diplomas and Jack's spoonmail jewelry will still be available after the fundraiser is completed. And of course, the short stories and novellas on Amazon will, too.
It's pretty awesome to be more than a month out and be most of the way there already... I haven't been doing anything to promote this beyond the immediate circles of my readers and people who have an existing reason to care about Jack and me, since there's no larger product or project directly attached to it, but it has been a good source of experience for when I do a pre-order run for MU print books or A Wilder World.

Going to be writing a bit. Also, my efforts to put together a video this weekend devolved into a lot of "um"-ing at the camera, so I'm going to try something a little different: writing out what I want to say in advance. I won't actually be reading it off, this is just a way of organizing my thoughts before I get going.
