It's a little surreal to contemplate when I've been focused on the move for so long, but tomorrow I'm going on vacation. This was planned and the tickets were bought long ago, when it was still possible to aim for the beginning of September for the move. This is an important trip because it's the first time my family will be meeting my family... the first time Jack and Sarah meet my parents.
The State of the Me
I was up a bit later than I'd planned/expected last night due to a sudden adrenaline rush from hearing an unfamiliar sound coming from an unfamiliar house coming at the worst possible moment. I enjoy my solitude, but I'm looking forward to not living alone.
Plans For Today
Mostly, getting things ready for the trip, personally and professionally.
