Halloween was an unqualified success. We got fifty-seven trick-or-treaters, and made some notes for improving things next year. Our house is actually just outside the city's area of responsibility, and so both the sidewalk and street lights stop just before people get to us. We definitely need better lighting for next year.
The State of the Me
Sore. So sore. I felt so spry and full of energy yesterday evening when I was out in my costume (button-eyed rag doll, in case anyone's wondering) and so I engaged in what seemed like an appropriate amount of physical business to bring the character to life. Then, after trick or treating ended and we went out to dinner, I had an attack of Sudden Onset Thirties that I'm still feeling today.
Slept well, though.
Plans For Today
Today I'm wrapping up the short story portion of the perk fulfillment, and incidentally adding the last of my currently extant short stories to my Sellfy store. It's also a publishing day, which will mark the first time in a while that there have been multiple updates to Tales of MU in the same week.
