First working day of a brand new year. I did a lot of stock taking earlier in the week, and now I've got some goals for the month.
As mentioned before, I plan on getting A Wilder World playtest ready by the end of the month.
I'm going to publish the third Tales of MU Omnibus this month. Now that I'm not moving or traveling, it should be easier to get into and keep the rhythm of setting up and finishing Tales of MU ebooks. The annotated individual books requires some space for introspection. The omnibus just takes good, solid work habits. Both things were easily disrupted before the move.
Starting next week, I'm going to be PDFing my longer works (the Tales of MU e-books, mostly) and fill in whatever other gaps still remain in the formats. This will let me finish the e-book based perks for my moving fundraiser. I think if I could have known what the months immediately proceeding and following the move would have been like, I would have made the decision to put fulfillment off until January 2014 to begin with. As it is, I'm kind of impressed that I managed to get most of them done in the chaos.
The PDF conversion is one of those things that feels really daunting, probably because I've done so little of it. It's not actually harder than converting to other formats, but my prospective PDF customers have expressed an interest in a two-column format for easier reading on handheld devices (because magnifying a full page of text means you have to scroll from side to side).
...you know, one of the things I found daunting was the idea that I'd have to do each chapter as a separate section so that the chapter headings could float above the columns, but as I was thinking that it hit me that if they weren't contained in the first column then the reader would have to zoom out and/or scroll to read them. So maybe it makes more sense to just column off the entire body of the book after all, which will make it that much easier. Wow, I should talk through my mental stumbling blocks more often.
Other goals:
The State of the Me
Doing okay. My sleep cycle's a little more back on track.
Plans For Today
Well, I've already dipped my toe back into the waters on the advertising thing. The main thing I need to do in the afternoon is finish and post a chapter.

Other goals:
- I need to get my Patreon funding up to $100 before the end of the month.
- Complete the subscriber archive of my published books/stories.
- Start advertising Tales of MU again.
