So, it wasn't long after my relationship with Jack began that we noticed that he has some strengths that I don't. He's handier, he's got more organization skills, he's better at getting stuff done for almost all values of "stuff" other than "put words on screen". His influence has helped me with that last one, but I remain who I am and I'm assuming I always will, and who I am is... well, kind of widely scattered.
And so we had this plan that once we were living in the same place we'd re-open the Magisterius University diploma mill under his supervision. But the demand is still there, and it's still going to be a while before we have our place, and Jack is eager to take on more responsibilities. He's got his own crafty endeavors he's looking to get off the ground, and this could give a nice supplement to that.
I'm here in Hagerstown for another month, so we'll be hashing out the details of this endeavor in the coming weeks. One thing I know we're going to be adding to the mix is some kind of holder or folder for the certificates themselves, not just because it makes them look nicer but because sending pieces of paper through the mail resulted in a lot of folding, bent corners, and tearing.
So, before the summer is over, degrees in Applied Enchantment and Necromancy will once more be available from the most prestigious imaginary university of magic I ever made up. Watch this space for details.
State of the Me
I continue to look sideways at every sniffle, but amazingly I do seem to have come through the con without getting sick. Sleep last night was pretty solid.
Plans For Today
Today's going to be a sort of major writing day, as I have a head full of ideas and nowhere to put them but the screen.
