I have no idea if this will help, but when I went to a headache clinic for migraines they put me on a high dose of melatonin (around 20mg), and it straightened out in 2 weeks the sleep schedule problems I've had for 26 years. I'd tried melatonin before at the recommended therapeutic dose for sleep (3-5mg) but it didn't do anything; the higher dose is completely safe. You need to taper yourself up, starting with 3-5mg at night and then increasing the dosage every 3-4 nights until you get to 15-20mg, but the effect has been amazing.
