Back when I first started using Office 2013, I encountered a lot of problems with using the "Office on-demand" feature which was supposed to stream applications and files to computers that don't have them installed. It seemed like a great idea and the answer to a lot of my traveling work woes, but I just couldn't get it to work. That's part of why I haven't been using the desktop computer here in Maryland for more work stuff.

I don't know if I was just having bad luck or I picked the wrong time to try them, but today on an impulse I tried it again on Jack and Sarah's desktop computer and it worked fine. It does take a while for the application to load, but that's not surprising... and once it's up, it's up.

If I'd thought to try this earlier (and it had worked earlier), I would probably have book 2's commentary done by now.
