I've never even looked at MtA... I think, from what I've gleaned about it, that I would like the flavor of it, especially for a modern "secret arcane" world, but World of Darkness has just always been so blah to me that I didn't bother with it.
GURPS is really my gold standard, especially as it can be flexed to get all the same flavors that D&D4E presents as ready-made options.
