Administration of a commune/retreat is not something I think I'd be up to... I suppose If I was that rich though I could pay someone else to manage it.
I've always just wanted a nice tract of land (a mountain) with a nice little place on it and the ability to subsidize the living cost of so many of my friends who create for a living, starting with s00j and getting on to you eventually. /grin
