I've always figured roleplaying was perfect for anyone with kids. I mean, kids play pretend all the time. The big difference between that and RPGs is the amount of rules involved. And depending on the kid that's not that big of a difference. It seems like a natural progression, one that basically gives a connection between and parent and kid through a shared hobby right up through college and potentially beyond.

Of course, I may be biased, given I was introduced to roleplaying back when I was young enough to still be playing pretend.
