Okay, this is a specific request for anyone with a WebOS, Android, iThing, or other mobile device... would you mind taking a look at http://www.fantasyinminiature.com on your mobile browser and rendering your opinion of its readability? Please try clicking on a story, navigating between them, etc. Imagine reading Tales of MU and other longer stories on it. Is this a good thing?

Edit to add: There is a slightly modified version of the mobile theme now up at Tales of MU, as well.

My iThing navigates quite smoothly through the sites. I like the simplicity and clarity, and even though I'm partial to sites with more decorative backgrounds, this does make it really easy to read.

The Fantasy in Miniature renders beautifully on my Nokia E75, and the design is clean and wonderfully functional. Easy to browse through stories and read comments.

The MU site didn't resize for mobile size screens, I don't know why. But it looked more like I was reading a website on my mobile rather than reading a mobile version of a site.

ETA: The stories on ToMU work fine, now that I check, it's just the first page (the intro page that is at talesofmu.com) that didn't render correctly.

Once I clicked on "newest chapter first" it went smooth as butter baby :P

Yeah, you know, the plugin that was running both sites' mini version at that point seemed to do that randomly on the front page. Easy enough on a dual-touch phone to zoom it to the right size, but irritating that it does it. I don't think I'm going to be using it in the long term for that reason.

Oh that sucks :(

Fortunately that page is more of a bookmark...and actually just as a suggestion it might work to have talesofmu.com direct straight to the newest chapter first page, and then do like the webcomics do and have an archive section for the chapters.

I know the /story isn't too hard to type in but I never remember to do it if I'm on a browser where MU isn't bookmarked

Looks good on my MyTouch!
Sorry not much more, work took it all out of me,
Having eaten and a warm drink
sleep calls

edit;
ToMu looks good too, I have usually read it on my phone, now the main page is a bit easier to navigate.
Android does web well

I've got an iPaq Pocket PC running some ancient version of Internet Explorer that was current around 2003 or maybe 2004. I dunno, I haven't touched it much in about four years. Anyway, the page proper is fine, but the header has a picture in the middle of the text like so:

Big improvement

I often read MU on my iPhone and the new story/chapter interface is great. The Fantasy in Miniature page for actually reading the stories is much better though, the MU one is tiny and zoomed out right now.
