Oct. 31st, 2011 10:07 amTHE DAILY REPORT
Laptop is continuing to fail at an accelerated rate. I've been putting off switching computers, because I can't really achieve my optimal typing/writing position at somebody else's desktop and the full-sized laptop here is a bit too heavy for my prolonged use... but needs must with the devil's drivers. I think we've reached the point where the drawbacks to the other computers are less critical than my lappy's problems.
Tonight is Halloween! I am getting dressed up for it for the first time in nearly a decade, as the last time I dressed for Halloween was when I worked at Oriental Trading Company. We don't actually have much in the way of plans, we're just going over to Sarah's parents' house to hand out candy but I'm still excited. Doubly so, as this will be our house if her folks' offer on a nice red-bricked ranch house goes through. It's like a test run for next year.
THE STATE OF THE ME
The weather turned cold here in a big way over this weekend, which is a mixed blessing... cold tends to rob me of spoons, but cold means I can pile on the blankets which makes for higher quality and deeper sleep. I spent a lot of the day Saturday catching up on deep sleep. I'm doing just fine at the moment.
PLANS FOR TODAY
Playing catch-up on my end-of-the-month goals.
