Oct. 29th, 2011 02:46 amTHE DAILY REPORT
Well, it's snowing. And weather.com is calling it "SNOWTOBER". These are not things that are great signs. When you live in Nebraska, you expect to have the occasional White Easter or White Halloween. Generally, the weather in Hagerstown is within a few degrees of Omaha, but on the more moderate side in all things (temperature, humidity, precipitation) but it looks like this time we're getting the short end of the stick for once.
Monday is Halloween. We don't have any really terribly exciting plans for it... just hanging out and handing out candy, but I'm still getting dressed up for it because it's been years since I've done that. If you're not on my Facebook or Tumblr, you can see my partial test run here.
Work Stuff
I don't think I'll need to re-jigger the schedule further so much as I need to re-think my approach to the larger items on it. And that's okay. That's how I got here.
A Wilder World
My brain keeps wanting to work on this, because it knows that my most extensive working notes for the game aren't in the cloud and are thus a thousand miles away at the moment. So I've been working on a few design philosophy problems instead, in my idle moments. I'd really like to make a post about it in the next few days, time and technology allowing.
STATE OF THE ME
Knees are acting up, probably due to the cold and the wet. Sleeping okay, though.
DREAMS FROM LAST NIGHT
Jack was trying to do a crossword puzzle in pen, and the person who'd written it mostly used clues that were incomprehensible mash-ups of Shakespeare and Bible quotes.
PLANS FOR TODAY
I've got a chapter of Kin & Distant Relations to sew up and post. Might be pushing midnight when again when it goes up.
