"Those Who Fail To Learn" is now available on Nook: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/those-who-fail-to-learn-alexandra-erin/1116070587 ... expect more of my stuff that's currently on Amazon to become available on Nook and then other platforms in the near future.
Yesterday I counted how many chapters are left in TOMU book 2 that need commentary, after I'd written two more. It turns out there's exactly ten of them. So I'm setting the goal for finishing the commentary by the end of next week, with the further goal of putting it up for publication the week after... i.e., by the end of the month.
The next newsletter--containing those commentaries--will go out at the end of next week as well.
By the end of this week, I should have the first omnibus edition compiled (books 1 and 2 didn't take much work to get in there, since I already had them compiled), so it will likely go up for publication next week.
I have a loose goal of publishing my superhero short story "Power Failure" this weekend.
So basically, in the next three weeks, I plan on publishing three things, two of them rather long. This might seem a bit overly ambitious, but except for the commentary none of this requires any writing and most of the formatting is already done.
The State of the Me
I'm doing pretty well, considering.
The summer heat is a problem as it always is, but four days a week there's a good chunk of time where the house is empty/quiet enough that I can work downstairs for a bit. Sleep is not great. I'm happy to report that I've gotten better enough at sleeping that I can manage it with a single blanket or even occasionally without any, but I tend to wake up a lot more during the night if I don't have the necessary weight/pressure. I have the option of staying with my parents if it gets too hot to function, which is when it gets close to or over the triple digits.
I'm really looking forward to next summer, when I won't have to choose between privacy/productivity and health/comfort.
Plans For Today
Today's a posting day for Tales of MU. I've also got a docket of things to do, including writing at least one commentary and transferring seven chapters of book 3 into the e-book formatted Word doc.
