Nov. 19th, 2013 01:58 pmThe Daily Report
Well, yesterday I set an ambitious slate for myself and I only ended up doing about half of it. That's part of why I dove into things this morning, and why I'm only getting to my status post now. (Well, I say "now" but I've actually started and then come back to this about three times by this point.)
PDFs of the long-form ebooks are proving trickier than I'd hoped. If I can't get the kinks ironed out this week, I'm going to send everyone who requested PDFs an HTML copy with a note of apology that the PDFs will be coming later... just so people don't have to wait.
The three-day process for writing chapters, on the other hand, is going really well. I mean, we're only on the second iteration, but I'm pretty sure the first one yieldedthe first chapter posted before dinner time since I moved here.
The State of the Me
While there are advantages to an empty house, having more people actually living in the house might make it a little easier to shape the start of my day. Before it was pretty much luck of the draw if/when anyone else would come over, so there weren't really any solid external cues as to the passage of time. Other than a cat who will let me know if I hadn't opened the front window shades by 10:00 a.m., I mean.
Plans For Today
Well, for this afternoon, really. Today's day 2 of the cycle, which means it's the major writing day for the next chapter. So, that's what I'm going to be doing for the next few hours.
