It has been a rocky couple of days, emotionally... not for any one big reason but lots of little ones.
While we're all sleeping under the same roof, there are still a lot of stressors in our lives that relate to the fact that we're far from settled in and large portions of the house are still not usable. Once everyone is all the way moved in, we'll be able to (and we'll have to) make a concerted effort to address that, but it would be so much easier to move Jack and Sarah's stuff in if we could get the house cleared out first. The whole situation is such an awkward way to do this, but the reality is that we couldn't have afforded to get a house of this size on our own, and the fact that we're not doing it on our terms is the price we pay for that.
More of my life is being consumed by Circumstances than I would like, but things are still good overall and getting better.
The State of the Me
Doing okay. Feeling a little run down today. I think part of it (and part of the rollercoaster feel of the last few days) is setting too many tasks on one day back at the start of the week. I was excited and full of energy, and overextended myself.
Plans For Today
Keeping it light. Today's day 1 and I don't have a lot of mental focus, so I'm pretty much just going to be brainstorming for this and subsequent Tales of MU chapters.
