Feb. 28th, 2011 11:12 amNews For Today
Today's a day for getting back in the swing of things. I don't expect amazing things to happen beyond that, but that will be an amazing thing in and of itself because I've got almost three months to build, keep, and use momentum.
I've worked out how to bring the first volume of Tales of MU to a close, and there's going to be some room for the ever-popular Audience Participation in the run-up to volume 2. More after today's chapter goes live.
As of last night, my laptop seems to be back to normal. Yay!
K. Tempest Bradford posted a thing about using software to aid focus and productivity that also reminded me I've never yet got my Google Calendar reminders back on track from when I moved almost a year ago. I guess that's a task for today.
Personal Assessment
I have had two nights in a row of not-great sleep. (Note to self: This is among the reasons I should do status posts even on weekends.) The night before last, I was up with a bloated and upset-feeling stomach... probably the result of Valentino's pizza I ate at a family function. I tend to forget their pizza sauce does that to me because when I go to their buffet, I tend to eat a lot of pasta with alfredo sauce.
Last night was better, but my sleep was sort of spread out in three periods of three-four hours with as much as two hours in between them.
Dreams From Last Night
I had a weird one about being dipped into chocolate which was turned into a vore story during one of my periods of wakefulness. Said story may be available by and by to those who are interested in That Sort Of Thing. During my most recent period of sleep, I had one that was clearly influenced by my recent visits to art galleries and audio-reading of The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms. It involved exiled gods whose powers were trapped in paintings. I wish I could remember more of it.
Plans For Today
Write and post the next chapter of Tales of MU is the big one. Get some Google Calendar-Fu on is the next one. We'll go from there.
