So, apparently...
Mar. 2nd, 2011 03:45 pm...if you define womanhood in terms of being a thing that can bleed for a week once a month without dying, you're either a misogynistic jerk or a Dianic Wiccan.
I'm not sure if they've turned an unfunny, sexist joke into theology or turned their theology into an unfunny, sexist joke... either way, you just have to stand up and applaud someone who has the gumption to reclaim misogyny for women.

on 2011-03-03 12:20 am (UTC)Not to mention, how do they even know that everyone there was cis? I've known trans-people of both genders who could "pass" for cis. (I really hate that concept; it just perpetuates the stereotype that people need to fit nicely into boxes. People should just be able to look how they want to look; if that means you can't tell their gender just by looking so what? It just makes people have even more issues about their bodies than need be.)
