Update of the Me
Jun. 13th, 2011 03:40 pmStill behind on... everything, not the least of which is email correspondence, so if you've sent me something and are waiting for a reply, know that you're not being ignored. Or at least not singled out. I'm still sick-ish. I thought I was pretty well over everything but then yesterday was kind of horrible... I don't know if it was a stress related relapse or a really bad flare up of allergies or if I just caught another bug or what. With so many people living on top of each other for the time being, we seem to have created a sort of vicious cycle of catching things from each other.
Over the course of this week the crowding will lessen, and next week things should be back to something resembling "normal" in terms of me having vast acres of time and space in which I can really get caught on things. That could also alleviate the petri dish aspect somewhat.
I've just updated Fantasy In Miniature with a slightly longer than normal flash story set in the Harborverse. When I finish this blog post I'm going to begin working on a Tales of MU chapter... there will be at least one update this week. Tempting to say there will be two but I really don't know.
Positive sign: I think the past few weeks (from the week of WisCon on, really) can pretty much be characterized as a mix of illness and drama, I still feel pretty good about them and my life in general. While the bad parts suck, they aren't what's sticking with me.
I just need to carve out a big enough space to get some more work done.
