Last night, I spent the whole night with Jack playing an online game... past the time I should have gone to sleep, and also past the time I'd expected/meant to finish Tales of MU to post this morning.
It's an uphill struggle because my natural inclination is to regret everything, but I'm going to endeavor to regret nothing about the experience. I won't make a habit of it, but we needed it. We're both getting on okay with the business of getting on, but Jack has other sources of stress and uncertainty in his life right now and we're both feeling the distance rather acutely.
Actual work-based news in this space tomorrow, if today goes well.

Woke up feeling a little stuffy. Otherwise okay.
Dreams From Last Night
A non-chronological look at the life and eventual death of a mad scientist's child trying to follow in his father's footsteps. Possibly an interesting story there, though all the segments of it were the things that only make sense in dreams... you know, the sorts of things that make no sense but you dream they do.

Finish and post Tales of MU chapter.
