I'm rediscovering...

...how darn distracting it is to post something at the beginning of the day instead of as my last act of the working day. Somehow just knowing the story is there, being read and possibly commented on... that sensation just lingers all day, along with the well-founded sense of a job well done that comes with posting a story. This is a helpful feeling to have at the end of the day, but less so at the beginning.
