THE DAILY REPORT
Back in Omaha. Got back in fairly late last night... not at an entirely ungodly hour, but it was pushing midnight according to my east coast body clock. So far today I've done a lot of catching up with things and settling in.
STATE OF THE ME
Doing okay. I didn't exactly have a huge sleep deficit, but there's just something restful about being in my quiet, pitch black space again with my own pillows and blankets.
DREAMS FROM LAST NIGHT
Involved some sort of interplanetary/interstellar kingdom where the king (this was kind of a third person omniscient viewpoint dream) was visiting a vassal who lived on a moon orbiting high above a big purple gas giant, and there were other moons that had lower orbits and the planet was unstable in a way that made it expand and contract cyclically so some of the moons were habitable for brief periods or were outside the cloud for a century at a time, and a historically important one was about to emerge for the first time in centuries and there was a bit of a race to get down to the surface of it as soon as it was free enough of the poisonous gas giant to be relatively safe, because the people who'd inhabited it during its last "clear" period had left behind a lot of important and valuable artifacts.
PLANS FOR TODAY
My meta-plan for this week is to get back on the 4 day cycle. I'm fortunate that my trip ended on a posting day, what would have been day 4. Today's a conception day. There might also be another blog post or two, now that it's no longer an almighty struggle to get Dreamwidth to load and post.
