Post-day wrap-up.

So... on top of however many words I wrote this morning (around 500-800, I'm not sure), I got 2,200 this afternoon. Breaking down the time actually spent pushing buttons on a keyboard, that's 2,200 words in 80 minutes of writing. Clearly it's not the most polished gemstone anybody's ever unearthed, but the idea here is to sprint ahead and then have time to examine What Madness I Have Wrought at my leisure.

I got my other goals for the day done, though after taking trash from my room out, I slipped on the kitchen floor. I managed to fall on my butt rather than anything breakable but I still jarred my back and knees. So I'm going to go put a mat down by said door (it really needs one in the winter), and then I'm going to take a hot bath.
