So, yes, if you've checked Tales of MU today you may have noticed the comment section is blocked and there's a little notice about SOPA/PIPA. Despite my vehement opposition to the acts, I'm not going full-on blackout. I feel a site needs to have a certain amount of standing to begin with for the effectiveness of a blackout to overrule the cost to the participating site. Blocking the comments is probably more effective anyway as allowing user-submitted content is going to be one of the major liabilities for any site under this law.
Comments will be re-enabled around midnight tonight. Depending on how you view the site you might not even see what I'm talking about, since the mobile theme wasn't made to be edited by hand.
Yesterday I decided to try starting my work day out with something besides undirected timed writing. Things ended up a little bit more scattered, so I think that's just going to be standard. No matter what I'm doing, start with at least a little bit of that.
STATE OF THE ME
I seem to be at a pretty good place in my sleep right now, insofar as I'm able to lie down and get a decent amount of sleep whether i do it before midnight or circumstances keep me up later. My sniffliness continues unabated, but i have found a very inexpensive source of 24 hour allergy tablets.
PLANS FOR TODAY
I'm switching gears a little bit today. So one hour of timed writing, and then I'm going to be doing some blogging and other things on a timer. I'm really curious to see how this goes.
