I'm feeling pretty good about the decision I posted about yesterday, focus way more on the writer hat than I have been. I've been trying at various times to build a career, a community, and a brand around my writing, but I've never done nearly as good a job at those other three things as I have at writing. I have some new thoughts regarding "branding" and "community", but they're still developing.
THE STATE OF THE ME
I did something terrible to my right ankle/calf yesterday. It feels kind of weak and like it wants to twist out from underneath me, so I'm going to spend my day giving it as little chance to do so as possible.
DREAMS FROM LAST NIGHT
The earth had suffered some sort of quiet apocalypse that left cities uninhabited and destroyed commerce and industry but left a lot of people alive and things were proceeding with a fairly civil barter economy. Troupes of professional wrestlers and comedians roamed the country providing entertainment to the masses.
PLANS FOR TODAY
Not really a "work day" but going to be doing some writing nonetheless.
Also got a blog post about selling a story (content) vs. selling a book (content + container) coming up.
