I had been thinking Monday would be a good day to generally make my office day, but looking at my schedule for the week, I think it's going to end up being Wednesday again. The chapter that's due then is finished. The one that's due tomorrow is barely started. And I don't have a flash story to put up today yet. So I think I'm going to be writing today after all.
I don't want to nail down a single day to use as a regular office day, because I want to stay flexible to the needs of the week... but all other things being equal, Monday will often be the day that makes the most sense.
I'm looking at this week and what strikes me is that the second half of it could easily go the same as last week. I mean, my next Tales of MU chapter after Wednesday is due on Saturday, I have two days before it. Can I get two ahead again? At this point I couldn't say so with confidence. I have a fair idea about the first of those chapters. If I keep a mind towards it early in the week I think it might shape up that way.

Slept well last night.
DREAMS FROM LAST NIGHT
I dreamed I was at a family buffet restaurant (like, Golden Corral style) where there was a whole buffet bar given over to desserts, including elaborate hand-packed ice cream flavors that were all bizarrely mixed with toys of the little plastic figurine style, and some of them just had an army guy here or there but then other flavors were more plastic dinosaur than ice cream.
In a partitioned-off "party room" section of the restaurant, a group of older gentlemen were having a meeting. They called themselves the Ancient Society of Cain & Judas, and they were a support group for jealous backstabbers and betrayers.
The meeting did not go well.
PLANS FOR TODAY
My big priority for the day once I've warmed up is Kin & Distant Relations, since that goes up tomorrow. To warm up to that, I'm going to try to write a few flash stories, as I need a new one to put up today and I'd like to start getting ahead on them, too.
