THE DAILY REPORT

So, I've been using Chrome as my primary browser for long enough that any time I'm on a computer that only has Firefox I always think something has gone horribly wrong during the brief delay between when I click on the shortcut and when the window appears, but I've never before learned the use of pinned tabs. I've never been one to use tabs as a replacement for bookmarks in the first place because I've never been one for bookmarks, but having some key parts of my itinerary pinned at the top left of the screen is making a noticeable difference in keeping my routine... routine.

Among other things, it's making it easier for me to remember to check my Livejournal reading list on a daily basis, which is why I know that [livejournal.com profile] csecooney's first Jack o' the Hills audiobook is now up for sale for the quite reasonable cost of about three American dollars, though the actual price is given in pounds. This seems appropriate, if only because there is no such currency as "stomps". The file format is .m4b, which is apparently an iTunes thing, which means I'll either have to install iTunes or find a converter, but either of those things would be fairly trivial and free. Still, I'm going to be waiting until I'm done with work for the day to mess around with it, just in case there are unforeseen complications.

In other news relating to authors with three first initials, self-publishing business guru [personal profile] haikujaguar/M.C.A. Hogarth is kickstarting a print edition of her Spots the Space Marine story.

STATE OF THE ME

Pretty good.

DREAMS FROM LAST NIGHT

I had an interesting one that I was excited about the prospect of writing up, but then I went back to sleep for a few more hours and it largely evaporated. I know that part of it involved the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disney World being redone as an elaborate model trainset and city that people could walk through and pretend to be giant city-destroying monsters.

PLANS FOR TODAY

As usual for a Monday, the day's going to hold some distractions, but I'm going to be writing what I can, as I can.
