Took a really hot bath.
Feb. 22nd, 2012 02:25 pmFeel about 40% better. Not really a hundred percent better, not even quite 50% better. But noticeably better.
It's the sort of thing that I should have done as soon as I woke up enough to realize my muscles were aching all over. I can't give my mind a hot bath, obviously, but anything that soothes the pain takes away one more thing that's causing fog.
The thing about living with a chronic illness or disability and having an extended good period is that it can dull your instincts for self-care. That's one reason why good periods never last forever. Of course, the other reason that they never last forever is that a disability doesn't just evaporate.
