Ugh, tired.

alexandraerinI probably shouldn't be surprised at how tired I am today... we didn't stay up too terribly late my last night in Maryland but we weren't in bed before midnight, and I was awake shortly after sunrise. It was another hot weekend all over, and of course travel isn't exactly restful.
Right now I've got the kind of fogged-in feeling that usually comes for me with deep fatigue. There isn't much that actually needs to be done on the next chapter of Tales of MU, in terms of volume... but it's all mental. I mean, more so than writing is a mental activity to begin with. I was depending on being able to think my way through a problem and untangle the story from the mass of words...
I've been resting and turning in early tonight. I'm leaving for my parents' house in the late afternoon, but it won't take me more than a couple of hours of being well-rested and alert to square this away.
