It's a great thing to wake up on a posting day and be thinking, "How can I make this chapter better?" instead of "How can I finish this chapter?" (Or, on occasion, "How can I write this chapter?"))
Sidenote: because people have been confused before when I talk about struggling to find a beginning, when I say "finish this chapter" I mean "finish substantially writing the body of it."
The chapter that's "finished" might not have the closing lines written, because those last lines... the things that tie it off with a bow or set up the next chapter or serve as a punchline or stinger... are usually the last things I write. But I'll start setting up the post in Wordpress before I've done that, because the chapter is finished. The last lines are just like spraying sealant over a charcoal drawing.
Anyway, today's one of those days. It's a good feeling and it results in better writing.
The State of the Me
Was up late last night with a headache, but got adequate sleep afterwards.
Plans For Today
I'm going to spend another hour on Tales of MU... already got an hour down, but I've kind of got a vision going. I've got to get back into the swing of things on Fantasy In Miniature after a weekend where nothing really happened (I was expecting that, though). Since I slept a bit late, that's all I'm counting on doing.
