I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the most comfortable typing position to use my laptop on the treadmill, and none of them really worked out for large-scale things... they all either required hunching my back (more than normal) or bending my wrists.
But then I realized I don't need to type on my keyboard. I have a phone. I spent so long with the crummy no-keyboard replacement phone that it's not yet second nature to think of my phone as a primary writing device.
I'm actually typing this blog entry in my phone (as a Google Doc to be pasted and posted later) and it's proving to be a pretty good warm-up. I could see this becoming my morning routine... wake up, hit the treadmill and write my blog post to wake up my body, mind, and typing fingers.
