So, a few months ago, I saw a picture someone had drawn of a grumpy Batman riding a cheerful flying Superman going around the internet, and I was inspired to caption it with dialogue:



The post, with my embellishment, ended up being circulated all over the place. Multiple copies of it were posted to Facebook, Tumblr, and Reddit.

At this point, I'm pretty sure that those few lines are the most widely read thing I've ever written.

But it gets better... see, someone actually recorded the lines, along with some additional ones that someone penned on Reddit. You can listen to it here. The artist who did this apparently mostly works in the milieu of recording handy phrases being sung barbershop quartet-style, no doubt a standout in a crowded field.
