So, I've managed to shift myself into a higher gear this past week... if the fact that the last couple updates have been back up around the 3,000 mark wasn't any indication of that... and I've got an adaptation of my four day writing cycle that will let me finish chapters faster. Basically, by doing more planning ahead and sketching out of arcs, I don't have to devote as much time to the conception phases.
And the trajectory on this is that it will ultimately allow me to write faster than I have been writing, more often. Not sure about sustainability, though I think I'm going to be in good shape. I feel like I'm not running the engine hotter, I've just made it more efficient.
I think working ahead in general is a good idea, but maintaining a hefty backlog is counterproductive, so I think for now... until I have a better idea if this progress is going to fade or fizzle out... I'm going to let the increased output translate into more frequent updates, if only to make up for the irregularity the past month. I don't have a specific frequency in mind yet, because I'm going to have to gauge that to how fast I'm actually going.
Well, I lie. I do have an idea of where it might end up, but I don't want to say it until I'm more sure.
The State of the Me
Forgot my resolution to take valerian last night, had another night with frequent awakenings, though good sleep in between.
Plans For Today
