The Daily Report
So, I've just today been able to restore access to the newsletter email box (sending email through the list server bypasses that) and I found a couple of emails from people who couldn't access the archive. I can't remember the timeline of events on when the web server was restored and when I updated it to include new subscribers... it's possible that the issue's been resolved, but I replied to the emails anyway to let them know that it should be fixed and to inquire if that is the case.
I've also just got the bulk of the responses to my request for feedback on the short story "Those Who Fail To Learn", and it seems like the overwhelming majority of respondents thought it's better with the coda than without, even in cases where they saw the upshot of the story coming before it. So I'm definitely keeping it in... that's how I was leaning before the server troubles started, and it's just been confirmed.
The State of the Me
Between holiday happenings and home henovations... renovations... my routine has been very not lately, but we're coming to the end of that. I think I'm going to be going to bed early and sleeping late for a while, just to help me catch up.
