...my short story "Those Who Fail To Learn" sold like twenty copies on Saturday, seemingly out of nowhere. It makes me wonder if it received a favorable notice somewhere... if so, I'd love to know who's been recommending it. I don't think I've ever had a one-day spike like that even when I get out and push.

I know at least one person purchased it based on that recommendation. I wondered if you would see a spike or not.

Just goes to show, properly placed advertisement is incredibly powerful. Seems to me like the i09 community would be ripe for the picking, with a little effort you could probably gain a lot of readers over there.
