The Daily Report
So, today's starting late for reasons elaborated on in the next section, but I don't think it will be a problem. The rhythm of my day is such that a late or slow start might have implications for how much "other stuff" I get done, but the only thing that really interferes with my writing is when my energy levels start out low and/or are dropping precipitously throughout it.
I don't have a lot to say about work stuff today. The fundraiser still ends on Friday. Tales of MU book 2 will still be coming out on at least one platform this weekend. Probably. Like I said, late starts impair my ability to do Other Stuff, and copying and formatting chapters takes less wherewithal than proofreading and correctly setting up links. I should know by end of day tomorrow what the status is there.
Yesterday I described my plans for bringing A Wilder World to fruition. I described them here, so everybody who follows this blog in any form probably already saw that, but it was a big rambly post in the middle of the night. I know there are some people who skip my rambly posts and just look at my daily reports to catch up. Short version: in the next two months, I'm going to have a "feature complete" version of the Player's Guide and Character Guide, which I'll be sharing PDFs of in the same manner as I have been. Early next year, when I'm settled in in Maryland and have a work routine established, I'm going to start playtesting it. Playtesting will include online chat sessions, so those of you who have been following along/participating in the character creation playtest will get a chance to help with it.
The State of the Me
Yesterday was the (projected, and hopefully actual) hottest day of the week, but I just stayed out of the attic all day. Last night kind of medium sucked, on a night-time temperature scale, but I got a good chunk of sleep between 3:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. So my sleep schedule's a bit off (though to be honest), but I'm not sleep-deprived like I was at the end of last week. Overnight temperatures are supposed to be plummeting from here.
So, the bottom line for today is: doing okay. Not awesome, but okay. I can work with this.
Plans For Today
Tales of MU resumes today.
