Yesterday's conversion took longer than I'd expected. A lot of it was figuring out what I'd actually been doing with the files for the book, since it was my first ebook and I was learning as I went. I got it done, though, and so today I think I'm going to be filling in some gaps in my ebook store.
I really think I've got something with the combination of my current MU schedule and my habit of posting my progress to Patreon. The schedule gives me some flexibility, but the problem with a four day production schedule is that no matter how sound the logic behind each day's steps are, there's a part of the brain that doesn't hear anything but "we have four days to do this". Adding a grace day in there just makes it worse. But with each chapter having its own production post in the Patreon feed, I have a visible goal to meet for each day on the schedule.
The State of the Me
Pretty good. I'm adjusting to some dietary changes that leave me feeling a little drained by the end of the day, but pretty good.
Plans For Today
Block 1 is going to be e-book stuff.
Block 2 is going to be some miscellaneous writing.
Block 3 is Tales of MU.

on 2014-01-14 06:39 pm (UTC)If that translates into feeling sleepy at night then it could be a good thing. I know that much of my trouble sleeping come from my lifestyle - I eat too much and have too little physical activity, I imagine if I could change those habits I could probably manage to get more sleep on a more healthy schedule. That would require some willpower though. . .
