Sep. 28th, 2014 11:52 amI'm sorry if this information is old news to a lot of you, but for those who are just tuning in: Grief is the Worst Ninja: A Sudden Memoir of Loss is the book I wrote to work through my thoughts and feelings in the days following the unexpected death of my cat, Dorian. It is now available in multiple ebook stores and formats. To help memorialize Dorian and to reach as many people as possible, I have temporarily reduced the price from $2.99 to $0.99. This price will remain in place through the month of October.
If you've seen me talking about it and have been thinking about picking it up, I would urge you to do so. If you follow my blogging and would like to see some more long-form non-fiction from me, I would urge you to check this out. If you mostly enjoy my fiction but are curious to see how I would write about my own life, this is your chance. If you've lost a pet or other loved one and would like to hear a slightly different perspective on grief and recovery than the typical self-help book... this might be what you're looking for.
If you just want to help out a grieving pet owner trying to make something positive out of a senseless, random thing... this is your chance.

My personal store: https://sellfy.com/p/TaWR/ - this is a multi-format bundle compatible with all ebook readers and computers. If you've never messed with ebooks and weren't looking forward to learning how to do a new thing today, the HTML version can be read right in your browser, without having to install anything.
Note that the base price in my personal store is $1.99, but you can get 50% off by tweeting or sharing on Facebook. I do this because sales on the commercial sites help improve my ranking which automatically lead to more exposure, while direct sales don't carry that perk. People often assume that the greatest benefit to me as an author is through direct sales, and while it's true that I get more money faster from direct sales, in the long term it is success on the commercial sites will lead to further success.
