alexandraerin...a couple of months ago I changed my password on my Livejournal account, and inadvertently broke the connection between it and this blog, hence why posts I've made there haven't been appearing there.
Today I restored that link, so I could make sure this post would appear in both places. This might seem weirdly ironic when you read this post.
The long and the short of it is, this hasn't worked as a blogging site for me for a while now. It's just not where I am. Keeping up a DW/LJ site has just felt like more and more of a slog and less like a genuine expression of anything for some time now.
As of today, I am moving my blogging operations to a Wordpress blog hosted at http://www.alexandraerin.com. This isn't the first time I've done this, but I feel both Wordpress and I have matured in ways that just makes this a better fit now.
If you're not reading this post on Livejournal or Dreamwidth, don't worry... I will be setting up crossposting. It's even possible I'll be able to get my Wordpress blog crossposting here so that if you're comfortable following me here and don't want to move yourself, you won't have to do a thing. If that part doesn't work out, I will come back here to let you know for sure.
Anyway, this is not a bash on Livejournal or Dreamwidth. It's just the state of the me. It's time to move on.
