(Psst. I have a secret.)

It's up on the latest post in
fandomsecrets. Those who know me can probably guess which one, but I'll just say straight up: it's number 164. Catherine Tate Eff Tee Double You.
Here's a copy of the secret for the connection impaired:

Obviously it's not much of a secret if I'm admitting to posting it, and truthfully, I don't need another person's example to teach me that it's okay to eat. The fact is, I don't even know Ms. Tate's eating habits. She could have a glass of water and a cracker (or "lorry", as Ariella tells me they call them over there) every day for all I know. Those of us who live in reality instead of Weight Loss Industry Sponsored Land™ know that you can't tell somebody's dietary habits from looking at their body.
So what's the point? I'm trying to plant a seed. Almost every post on
fandomsecrets includes at least one picture of a stylistically thin stick figure of a cartoon character with the message "She is my thinspiration." So, I post a picture of a real, live woman... a tremendously talented woman who has what is probably among the best, most coveted roles in genre television... to show these folk that having a life need not depend on mutilating oneself in pursuit of an unattainable ideal.
This was my first such secret to get posted. I submitted a deliberately cracky one a while back, but it never went up. Whether this was because it was judged to be trollish or because I didn't do it right, I'm not at all sure. I wasn't sure I'd done this one right, and so it may show up as a duplicate in another post.
